You contact a engineer at Engineered Vision with a problem that you believe can be solved with a custom solution. Our engineers will contact you to determine the issue and begin to move forward with the process of developing a new system.
After determining the scope of the project we will deliver a set of defined goals that the system will accomplish. These goals are the basis of the project and will determine how the project is accomplished over the coming months.
Once expectations are established we will provide a statement of work which includes a basic outline of payment schedule, deliverables, and features that are determined by the customer. Clarity on this stage is critical moving forward into the basic design of the system.
After approval of work plan we present a basic design with the goal of giving an overview of what the final project will include; this includes a basic design, functions of the system and basic user interface for the user.
When half of the work has been completed a meeting (in-person or virtual) will be set. The purpose of this meeting is to ensure that ‘billable expectations are being met and incorperate possible new ideas into the final system,’ This stage is to best manage customer expectations as the install date approaches.
After the system’s have been under rigorous testing the system is crated and air freighted to your loading dock. This signifies the final stage of the project where the system is deployed. Users are trained on how to effectively use the system.
Every project begins with a deep dive into your environment — your process, your pain points, your operating constraints, and your goals. We ask the questions others skip. This phase is where we separate what you need from what you think you need, and where we determine whether we're the right fit for your challenge.
With a clear picture of your requirements, we design a solution architecture that addresses your technical objectives while accounting for your operational reality — budget, timeline, existing infrastructure, and maintainability. We present our approach clearly, explain our design decisions, and welcome pushback. The right solution is the one you understand and trust.
This is where the work happens. Our engineers build your solution with the same hands-on discipline that defined the design — writing LabVIEW code, assembling hardware, developing vision systems, and integrating components into a coherent, tested whole. We maintain close communication throughout, sharing progress and surfacing decisions as they arise so there are no surprises at delivery.
Before anything leaves our hands, it gets tested — thoroughly. We conduct structured validation against your defined acceptance criteria, document results, and resolve any deviations. For regulated industries, we can support IQ/OQ/PQ protocols and audit-ready documentation. We don't call a project done until you're confident in what you're receiving.
We're on-site for installation and commissioning — not handing off documentation and wishing you luck. Our team works alongside your operators to bring the system online, validate real-world performance, and address anything that surfaces during live operation. Your team leaves this phase understanding the system, not just inheriting it.
Our engagement doesn't end at go-live. We design every system with future maintainability in mind, and we remain available as your operation evolves — whether that means system upgrades, expanded capability, troubleshooting support, or planning the next phase. The clients we work with best are the ones who think in years, not quarters.
